Helen & Mark 18th August 2012

After a rainy start to the day, the weather steadily improved for Helen & Mark's wedding. I started off at Helen's Mum's house where the girls were getting ready with the help of a hairdresser, a make-up artist and each other...

Helen already looked beautiful before the make-up.

Meanwhile the boys were assembling in Boulmer village. They were ready, Mark's Mum and Dad were ready...

...but the dogs were watching the comings and goings from a safe distance.

In Boulmer there's a tradition of firing shotguns above the departing groom after some money has changed hands. I was really glad to be there for the ceremony and to record this long-standing tradition.

The two Marks - safely at the church on time.

The bridesmaids looked fantastic - ready to play their part...

Helen's arrival down the aisle and that first glimpse for Mark...

A very happy couple...

After the ceremony we went to the shore at Boulmer for some s'formal' shots in the bright sun.

And then on to the marquee in Boulmer for a few fun shots of the boys in their finery and of the speeches...

At 10 days, this is my youngest ever wedding guest. A Bonny wee man.

I really enjoyed Helen & Mark's wedding - I was made to feel very welcome and I hope you enjoy the memories of a beautiful sunny day at Boulmer. Best Wishes
