I don't do a lot of events and when I do, I treat them much the same as a wedding or portrait session. On Friday night I joined newly qualified Dental Nurses at their graduation bash in Edinburgh. I can get some nice snaps even in the corridor and there's room for some photo-journalism as you can see below.
