Jennifer and Jamie

This was a lovely wedding with a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The Scottish Mining Museum put on a great event as ever and arranged for a sunny day in the middle of the wettest August since 1908!

As I write, Jamie and Jennifer should be flying off on honeymoon - I hope you can find an internet cafe in Albufeira and get to see the few pictures on here before you get back to see the rest.

Have a great holiday and Best Wishes

Andy

Business Launch in Northumberland

So I need to start advertising my business down here in time for the main wedding booking season in January/Feb/March. Having a couple of weekends off has given me time to look at designing an advert and planning my publicity.

I'll be featured in Bamburgh Castle's wedding brochure and will be doing a brochure of my own. In addition, I'll be keeping up my contacts and advertising in Scotland as that remains a very important market for me.

Meanwhile, we've been exploring the local area and I've been snapping a few images of the coast and of the gardens at Alnwick and Howick which are both nearby (and are recommended!).

Back to the weddings next weekend for Jennifer and Jamie at the Mining Museum. Jennifer and Jamie have generously offered me a meal while they are eating as I'm with them through to the First Dance later on. This is particularly appreciated as it's my Birthday on their wedding day so I get to have something nice to eat even though I'm working. Thanks for the generosity guys and I'll see you next Saturday!

Maria and David

The Howard is a 5* Hotel in Edinburgh's New Town and is a spectacularly luxurious venue. Maria and David travelled up from Hampshire and invited only a few family and friends to make for a wonderfully friendy, intimate wedding.

Highlight for me was the speeches - three very good speakers in The Groom, Best Man and Father of the Bride. Because of the small crowd, the speeches were very personal and heartfelt - great stuff!

Congratulations to Maria and David

Please feel free to leave a message for the Bride and Groom on my blog...
