What an amazing day! The intimate size of this wedding meant that the atmosphere was lovely throughout the ceremony and the Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh was a spectacular venue with a beautiful, contemporary interior.
Shirley and Mark arranged for photos in Princes St Gardens and the weather allowed us a window to get the photos done between showers. We were joined by a few tourists including the party of French schoolkids below, but then it's Edinburgh in the Summer!
Thanks to Shirley and Mark for arranging a really enjoyable day - Have a great honeymoon and Best wishes for the future.

Audrey and Gary
Audrey and Gary's wedding was great fun with everyone in good spirits throughout the day. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and it allowed me time to take some nice candid portraits of the couple and their friends and families.
Please feel free to leave a message for The Happy Couple using the comments facility on my blog.
Congratulations Audrey and Gary

Busy weekend part two
Sian and Chris were married in Dalkeith and then, after some photos around Arthur's Seat, we were at The George Hotel for the evening.
I was struck by how well organised this event was - and how well chosen all the vendors were (if I say so myself!) From the vintage Rolls driver , the piper, the videographer and everyone at The George the customer service was superb. When I left, the band were just kicking off and they were sounding pretty good too.
Here are a few of my favourites from the day. If you were a guest at this wedding, feel free to leave a comment for the bride and groom...
Congratulations to Sian and Chris

busy weekend
I had a busy but great weekend last week.
Norah and Niall were married on 27th June, Sian and Chris on 28th June and I moved house on 30th June!
Now I'm in Northumberland and have finally unpacked the computers and got back on-line.
Norah and Niall's wedding was in the magnificent St Mary's RC cathedral in Edinburgh and then off to The Hub, itself a converted church. I love the colour scheme in The Hub - it's a quite dazzling mixture of the bold, new conversion and the original building's features.
The wedding guests had travelled from New Zealand, America and all across Europe and it was a wonderful day. Please feel free to leave a message for Niall and Norah via the comments button!
Congratulations to Norah and Niall.
